Just like any fitness class, every one of our instructors has their own flare and style they put on a class. Some love sprints on the bike while others are super fans of hills. As you get to know our instructors, we encourage you to change it up as the constant variation of workouts will help improve your cardiovascular system even faster. Although our instructors are there to motivate and push you to be your very best, they cannot control the gear to which you set your bike. If you are new to cycling, set that gear a little lower as you start to learn the movements. Do not get discouraged when you see someone on the screen that finishes the class with a 100 more calories burned than you. Everyone is on their own fitness journey! You will get there and our instructors are going to help you.
Reason #4: Strengthen your Core
It is critical you engage your core throughout the class; otherwise, you run the risk of hurting your lower back as you sit in a bent over position. Our instructors will cue reminders to the class about posture and technique. Correct posture is essential to work the correct muscle groups.
